About Us
Our founders Al and Gary met whilst working at one of the north west’s largest commercial joineries. Whilst their careers went in different directions, they remained friends and eventually decided to set up as partners in 2019, trading under the name Interiors 4 Individuals.
Al and Gaz share the same obsession with detail and getting a job just right, which is what makes their partnership work. Many customers comment on how clean and tidy they leave site – definitely a rarity in most joineries!
Going with the Grain
In 2023, with a lot more commercial work coming their way, they decided to rebrand to Grain Joinery to better reflect the wide range of cabinetry, furniture fitting and woodwork they now undertake.
Grain work with propery developers, interior designers and architects, as well as direct with homeowners and can bring any ideas to life in wood. Whether it’s a detailed technical drawing or a scribble on the back of an envelope, we’ll work with you to define the materials, styling details and finish for your project.
Grain serve customers across Cheshire and south Manchester, whilst commercial jobs see us travelling to London, Edinburgh and all points in between.
Sustainability
We stay up to date on the latest trends in technology, recycling and sustainable materials that will enhance your project. We can buy wood from renewable sources and often work with man made boards that use recycled materials.
We trial alternatives to marble and granite such as corian and can advise on the installation of energy saving devices such as Quookers or LED lighting.
